Thanks for visiting my page. Today's blog is about a favorite warbird of mine, the legendary Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. I got this shot at the Bremerton Air Show this year and was thrilled I got as close as I did to not only see, but hear, this WWII bomber. The aircraft had just finished engine start up and began taxing to the active runway. I was also working on improving my propeller blur and, with the engines are low rpm, I had to get the shutter speed down to 1/60th of a second exposure. There are certain photos (I honestly don't know why) that should be shown with a "period" look. The FORCE was strong with this one.
Talley ho!
