Back to the Future

This photo was captured during a "Heritage Flight" fly-by at the Olympic Air Show, Olympia, WA.  These two aircraft represent more than an 80 year leap in aviation technology, from the WWII era P-51D Mustang to today's stealthy F-35 Lightning II.  It is always amazing to see how far aviation has come since the Wright Brothers first flew.  I sometimes wonder where aviation will be fifty years in the future.
