Hello and thanks for reading. I promised a year ago I would post more P-51 Mustang images and am only now following through with this amazing image of the P-51D "Speedball Alice". Now, I have a really good reason for basically an entire year without another Mustang post. I just had too many good images to share while at the same time mixing up the content for more interest. I typically post a blog about once a month so that means I only had 11 chances to show another Mustang. That being said, I may have to post back-to-back Mustang images this time to regain some of your confidence. I can do that! The original "Speedball Alice" was flown by WWII ace, Maj. Donald Bochkay of the 357th Fighter Group. If you look close, you can see fifteen German kill marks, making Maj. Bochkay a triple ace.
