Hello again and thanks for reading. Over the last year or so friends have asked me about the name Aeon, how it is pronounced and what does it mean? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary it is phonetically spelled 'ee-on' with the 'a' being silent. However, I have changed how it is said and is phonetically spelled as 'ā-on' in large part because it works better with the word aviation following. The word itself is derived from the Latin and Greek words which mean; age, lifetime, long period of time. In astronomy, it means a billion years. To me, I strive to make my photos 'timeless'. And, there you have it!
