During WWII these cargo aircraft flew over the "hump", a high altitude military aerial supply route between the Assam Valley in northeastern India, across northern Burma to southwestern China. It was one of the most dangerous flying assignments of the war, battling treacherous weather and the impossibly high mountain peaks. The Optional Frame
Frames are available only in satin black and are made of solid wood. The frame is approximately 1.5 inch deep allowing for your 1 inch thick canvas to appear to float within the frame. The thickness of the frame is narrow and finishes the image nicely.
