Convair B-36 "Peacemaker"
Convair B-36 "Peacemaker"
A rare aircraft indeed; the B-36 heavy bomber. As they say; 6 turning (propellers) and 4 burning (jet engines). Jimmy Stewart played the role of a pilot of a B-36 in the 1955 movie 'Strategic Air Command'. It was a critical part of the newly formed Air Force's Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the 1950s. Curtis LeMay kept these aircraft stateside during the Korean War as a deterrent to a possible attack by the Soviet Union. The cinematic style of the image fits the era perfectly. This image is available exclusively as a metal print and comes ready to hang. Your satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed and shipping is free!

Even though the canvas has UV
protection it is always best to keep a photographic work out of direct sunlight. Doing so will help retain the best color possible over the years.

The Optional Frame
Frames are available only in satin black and are made of solid wood. The frame is approximately 1.5 inch deep allowing for your 1 inch thick canvas to appear to float within the frame. The thickness of the frame is narrow and finishes the image nicely.
