This spectacular photo is a C-47A military transport aircraft, “Old Number 30”. It was produced by Douglas Aircraft during WWII and delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force in April 1943. This particular airplane was assigned to the 60th Troop Carrier Group and between 1943-1945 it operated from numerous U.S. and British Airbases in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy. It is a war veteran. This image is titled, "Dakota Sky". Artist-quality giclée prints on canvas, with UV light protection to prevent fading, stretched over a wood frame are available. The Optional Frame
Frames are available only in satin black and are made of solid wood. The frame is approximately 1.5 inch deep allowing for your 1 inch thick canvas to appear to float within the frame. The thickness of the frame is narrow and finishes the image nicely.
