"Fallen Star" - Lockheed VC-121A Constellation

"Fallen Star" - Lockheed VC-121A Constellation

Dwight D. Eisenhower had two different VC-121As, today known as Air Force One, assigned as his personal transports at different times.  This specific aircraft was the first which served him during his time as the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) commander in the early 1950s.  Even though the Constellation first served with the USAAF in 1943, the unique tie of this particular aircraft to then future President Eisenhower in the early fifties I have placed it in the Modern Military (post-WWII) collection. Add a slim, black floating frame to really set off this image. Your satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed and shipping is free!
