Over the course of World War II, Hellcats claimed 75% of the kills by US Navy pilots, despite not arriving until over a year and a half into the war. Hellcats were credited with destroying a total of 5,223 enemy aircraft. The Hellcat outperformed the Zero by nearly every metric.  It was faster, better armed, and with superior armor it proved its worth in the skies of the Pacific Theater. The Optional Frame

Frames are available only in satin black and are made of solid wood. The frame is approximately 1.5 inch deep allowing for your 1 inch thick canvas to appear to float within the frame. The thickness of the frame is narrow and finishes the image nicely.
