The P-63 is an improved version of the Bell P-39 Airacobra.  Nearly all Kingcobras were sent to Russia during WWII as a part of the lend-lease agreement.  This particular aircraft is build number 4 which was sent to the NACA Lewis Center in Cleveland Ohio for engine cooling tests.  Only 3,303 were built.  It is an extremely rare aircraft. The Optional Frame

Frames are available only in satin black and are made of solid wood. The frame is approximately 1.5 inch deep allowing for your 1 inch thick canvas to appear to float within the frame. The thickness of the frame is narrow and finishes the image nicely.
