"Trojan" - North American T-28

First flown in 1949, the aircraft was used as a primary trainer for the US Navy and US Air Force.  A total of 1,948 examples were built. Besides its use as a trainer, the T-28 was successfully employed as a counter-insurgency aircraft, primarily during the Vietnam War.  The type was finally retired from active service with the Philippine Air Force in 1994. The Optional Frame

Frames are available only in satin black and are made of solid wood. The frame is approximately 1.5 inch deep allowing for your 1 inch thick canvas to appear to float within the frame. The thickness of the frame is narrow and finishes the image nicely.
