"Up and Over" - Yakovlev Yak-18T
"Up and Over" - Yakovlev Yak-18T
I photographed this aircraft recently at the 2022 Arlington Skyfest air show in Washington State. The Yak-18T is a four to five-seat utility aircraft and is fully aerobatic, designed for stresses up to 6.5 g's. Yakovlev developed the aircraft to train Aeroflot pilots and later has gained popularity as a sport plane both inside and outside the former USSR. It is powered by a Vedeneyev M14P radial engine. It was amazing, and awe inspiring, to see this big, seemingly clumsy looking aircraft, doing incredible aerobatic maneuvers so gracefully. It was a sight to behold as I hope the photo shows! Add a slim, black floating frame to really set off this image. Your satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed and shipping is free!

Even though the canvas has UV
protection it is always best to keep a photographic work out of direct sunlight. Doing so will help retain the best color possible over the years.

Frames are available only in satin black and are made of solid wood. The frame is approximately 1.5 inch deep allowing for your 1 inch thick canvas to appear to float within the frame. The thickness of the frame is narrow and finishes the image nicely.
